  • Day 3 - Challenges

Morning spent with Cathy Gatland and Isabel Fiadeiro. Now, they had a challenge for us! Whoever is used to sketch with line, should only use stain; whoever uses stain, should use line. Guess it was staining time for me. This really took me out of my comfort zone!

  • Day 2 - Confirmation

The second day began in Chiado, with Frank Ching and Pedro Cabral, showing us how the architecture of a place becomes the frame of life in drawings. Here, I sat next to Miguel Herranz who was applying this intense blue to his sky, and I just had to try it out. I like his better though.

  • Day one - Excitement

  • Olá from Lisboa!

Hei everybody! My name is Pedro Loureiro, I live in Lisboa, but I was born in 1980 in Lagos, in the southern part of the country.

I work as an architect. I draw since I can remember, but only started to carry a sketchbook in 1999 at the beginning of my degree. Teacher said she wanted to evaluate us on the sketchbook at the end of the year. Turns out she never did. And I never stopped carrying the sketchbook. Maybe I'm unconsciously waiting she'll turn up... somewhere... sometime... and grade my sketchbook, which now multiplied in number.
